THE ADVISORY BOARD

Ademola Adeyinka has extensive experience in the private sector which has been considerably enriched by his valuable experience in public service.  With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Ademola was at some point in his career the treasurer of Intercontinental Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc), Consultant on Structured Trade Finance and Corporate Lending at the African Export Import Bank in Cairo, Egypt, Managing Partner/CEO of S.M.A.R.T. Advisory Limited, a full service financial advisory and consulting firm. In public service, he served as Special Adviser on Public Service Productivity, Efficiency Due Process and a member of the Osun State Executive Council during the second term of the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Governor of the State and Senior Special Adviser, Strategy, Innovation & Delivery to Nigeria’s Minister of Interior where he was responsible for the various reforms and innovations in the Ministry and its Agencies.  

Ademola holds an MBA in Management and Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Prior to his MBA, he studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the same university. He is an alumnus of reputable institutions which includes, Lagos Business School, and London Business School. He also did intensive leadership program at Harvard Business School and general management program at Wharton Business School. He provides guidance, executive coaching and mentoring to the young team at X-agon.
